A OKTO charter is strongest when the yacht choice is tied to the route. OKTO yacht charter in Mediterranean

A OKTO charter is strongest when the yacht choice is tied to the route. For larger private groups, celebrations, and corporate hosting, the useful question is how a flagship charter mood built around privacy, hosting, and status fits marina choice, tender windows, and the tradeoff between Monaco polish and St Tropez beach-club timing and whether boarding, service, and guest movement are planned before the day starts.

Charter fit

How to use OKTO

OKTO is best considered for larger private groups, celebrations, and corporate hosting, with a flagship charter mood built around privacy, hosting, and status. The useful planning angle is a larger group day where deck flow matters, not a generic yacht-listing comparison.

Shortlist logic

Why this yacht belongs in the conversation

OKTO should make the shortlist when the brief needs a larger group day where deck flow matters around Mediterranean and Monaco. The decision should weigh 217'10 / 66.4m, 11 guests, 6 cabins, 2014 | 2023 (Refitted) against route timing and guest flow.

Watch-out

When this yacht makes sense

OKTO suits larger private groups, celebrations, and corporate hosting when the brief is a larger group day where deck flow matters. The 11 guests profile gives enough structure to plan the guest list early. 6 cabins also makes overnight suitability easier to judge.

Where to use it

Mediterranean can work well for OKTO, but the route needs discipline. The best plan keeps the day focused instead of trying to collect too many stops, especially when boarding, service, and guest movement are planned before the day starts.

Season and booking notes

Season matters because berth pressure, weather windows, and guest expectations change the charter. May to September, with Monaco, Cannes, and St Tropez dates requiring early berth and route planning. A useful shortlist should also explain why check whether the yacht is being shortlisted for its real fit or only for its headline specs.

Life on board

a flagship charter mood built around privacy, hosting, and status. For active guests, the onboard recreation list is worth checking before the final route is set. This is where a broker note is more useful than a raw specification list.

Compare before booking

Do not compare OKTO on price alone. The stronger comparison is whether another yacht makes Cannes, Antibes, and the Lerins Islands easier, gives the group a better deck rhythm, or solves a port constraint more cleanly.

What to verify

A good recommendation for OKTO should include one reason to choose it and one condition to verify. That keeps the page useful for real charter planning instead of becoming another listing entry.

Charter price

What the charter price is really buying

OKTO is positioned around €480,000 p/week + expenses Approx $564,000, before the final charter budget is shaped by APA, tax, fuel, berths, provisioning, delivery and the route requested.

Guest experience

The value is in the way the yacht supports guests: cabins, deck space, crew flow, toys, tenders, service rhythm and the ability to make the route feel effortless.

Newer yachts in the same class may offer fresher interiors, newer beach clubs or updated wellness layouts. OKTO should be compared on guest fit, refit status, deck flow, crew programme, toys, range, availability and the route you actually want to run.

The strongest shortlist is not the newest yacht by default. It is the yacht whose layout, service style and operating assumptions match the client, the port and the itinerary.

Overview

The 216.54ft /66m custom motor yacht 'OKTO' was built in 2014 by ISA. Previously named GRANTURISO, her luxurious interior is designed by Alberto Pinto and her striking exterior styling is by Andrea Vallicelli. A true game changer, OKTO has raised the bar in superyacht design and engineering. Fusing the upmost expertise, creativity and serenity, she exceeds all expectations.

Exterior Design

OKTO is certainly a sight to behold. On top of her jet black steel hull with its piercing bow sits a sleek, sparkling superstructure and this striking profile is only the start of her appeal. A large pool for salt or fresh water on the main deck aft is bound to become the hub of any charter vacation while the bridge deck aft abounds with space for alfresco dining, lounging and socializing with fellow guests. A secluded sun deck, meanwhile, with a Jacuzzi and sunning options provides a more intimate escape.

Interior Design

One of the last projects the late designer Alberto Pinto worked on, OKTO boasts a harmonious continuity between inside and outdoors. On the main deck, five-metre-wide glass doors slide open into an opulent salon. Pale furniture, lacquered surfaces and stainless steel structural detail flow from one space to the next while natural light floods in through huge windows. Visually striking, the grand ambiance and extraordinary comfort of this space continues throughout the whole motor yacht.

Special Features

The enormous engineering efforts of BMT Nigel Gee has equipped OKTO with ground-breaking low levels of noise and vibrations in all owner, guest and crew areas. Not to be outdone, the bespoke decks are composed of a rare eco-friendly material by Esthec, a stunning switch from the usual teak.

Why Charter Okto

From her commanding lines and unrivalled interior design to her sublime quietness, OKTO exceeds all expectations. Okto and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is already accepting bookings this winter for cruising in the Caribbean. Motor yacht Okto is an outstanding pedigree yacht that delivers on all fronts for superlative luxury yacht vacations.

Performance Range

A custom full displacement yacht, OKTO also features ‘at anchor stabilisers’, which work at zero speed to enhance on-board comfort at anchor and on rough waters. Exceeding all expectations, she is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 18 knots and cruises at a speed of 16 knots from her 159,000 litre fuel tanks.

Guest Accommodation

OKTO is able to sleep up to 10 guests in five staterooms. The master suite with whitened sycamore joinery is located on the main deck and among its unique features is the absence of portholes in favour of skylights and a private balcony, which drops down at the touch of a button. Adjoining the master suite is a VIP stateroom, which can also be used as a children’s cabin or study, and four additional cabins each with their own unique colour scheme spread out across the lower deck.

Onboard Comfort Entertainment

By night, the expansive bridge deck transforms into the life and soul of the party. With a state-of-the-art stereo system, dancing on the touch-and-go helipad forward and a glamorous alfresco dining option, the deck can handle any occasion. Other highlights include an upper salon cinema and a private gymnasium on the sundeck which, fitted with vast windows and skylights, provides gym-goers with one of the yacht’s best vantage points.
